dvds & cds rental by mail; music
two topics sort of, though maybe related
... unsure if context was scheduling our film for this new year I found out somehow that Blockbuster shut down their dvd rentals by mail as of mid-December last year and are only like as a bundle with DishNet or something like that ... Netflix is still available; and, I found another site on a search, they didn't even have a Apocalypse Now listed in their Action section so I sorta didn't alot of attend to it, but, I did notice they had lots of titles (1926media) ...
then, just this past week I'm gettin' the idea (wherever it comes from at times ya wonder) ... idea to search for albums (as part of my peripheral for my guitar project) ... anyway, I search for "100 hard rock albums 1970s" on AOLs search engine ... now, I don't know about the substance of this one list I hit onto, but, the look of it is like 'authentic' (unsure if that's a good word to describe it) ... it's on rateyourmusic and it's listed as something like "100+1 best 70s hard rock and heavy metal albums"; again, looks like a treasure of a find for a list (and click the screenname that placed it for others I ain't even checked out yet) ...
